What’s a 5 Week Coding Camp?
These camps guide youth through coding using a real environment learning JavaScript, JAVA, Python, HTML, and many other languages!
Students will get:
- Five days of instruction from a Live Teacher (7.5 hours total)
- 1hr 30 min/day of teacher instruction
- 24/7 Access to the full-length coding course offering 35+ hours of instruction ($100 value)
- Students can continue using this self-directed course after the camp is over
- Access to Live Chat support during normal work hours
- A great experience writing real code creating their own custom projects
- Yes, they’ll be typing out and coding their projects starting with a blank editor

Intermediate: Minecraft Mods in JAVA
Minecraft Mods in Java:
When: Tuesday Feb 9th – March 9th, 2020
Time: 3:30 pm CT – 5:00 pm CT (all times listed are central time zone)
Cost: $150 $99 / student capped at 12 students per camp
Description: Have you ever wanted to create your own custom items, blocks, weapons, armor, mobs, etc in Minecraft?
This course teaches you how to use Java to create your own custom Minecraft Mod! Minecraft has an incredibly well-written code base and with the help of Forge and IntelliJ, you can add your own Java files to customize your own mod! Not only that, but this course will also help you create your own textures to put into your game! Enjoy our instructor-led camp as you learn the pattern of creating great mods for you and your friends to use!
Students will retain access to this 35+ hour self-directed course to continue learning after the camp has ended.
Beginner: JavaScript Game Design
JavaScript Game Design:
When: Mondays Feb 8th – March 8th, 2020
Time: 5:00 pm CT – 6:30 pm CT (all times listed are central time zone)
Cost: $99 $75 / student
Description: – Have you ever wanted to code your own games and share them with others?
This course teaches you how to code games using JavaScript and play them in a web browser. The lessons assume no prior coding experience and will walk you through coding your own pong game, fish game, platform game, and then finally your own custom JavaScript game!
At the end of the course, you will get to publish your games live on the web, using GitHub.
